So apparently I was doing it wrong??

Hey Hey!

So, apparently I had been doing this whole blogging thing wrong, trying to sign in through my AIM. That is NOT the way to do it. But now I know :) and now I will need to redo my settings of following everyone else's blogs.

SO-- Life. What is there to say? I am enjoying myself that is for sure. I think one thing I am realizing, is who my real friends are. One of my best friends got married last Friday, and don't get me wrong, it was a blast. However, her wedding party was about 20 people, and the bridal party alone was 9. Now, I get it, when you want to have everyone who has made an impact on your life in your wedding, but a few of these girls made no effort to even contact Cassy, or come to either of her bridal showers! It was girls that she felt OBLIGATED to put in her wedding because she had been so close with them years and years ago. And now, my friend Maria, who is getting married in January is having a similar problem. Hearing them vent about it has made me realize that I will never feel obligated to hang out with someone or be friends with someone when I am not met at least half way in the middle. I think everyone would agree that we all lead very different lives, have very different schedules, and different friend groups. However, the best thing about the group of girls I was friends with in high school (which is those of you that are reading this right now for the most part), is that we can not see each other for a month or two at a time, but when we DO get together, it is just like old times. I love low maintenance friendships... and adore you all a TON.

I am getting so old. I put an offer in on a townhome yesterday. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with hard wood floors in the kitchen, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a fireplace, and it is an end unit. Seriously-- everything I was looking for. However, it is a short sale, so the bank has most of the rights to the home, and not the seller. This could mean that I will not be able to know if they accepted it for a couple weeks, or maybe even longer, so I am going to keep looking on the weekends. The home is not a foreclosure, its just that the seller is a little behind on her payments. Also, most homes like this have been semi trashed, but she has kept it in AMAZING condition, and I wish I did not want it so bad because I have to wait. Normally when buying a house, the buyer would hear back within 24 hours, but not the case in this situation. So keep your fingers crossed! And who knows... maybe I will find another that I love within that time! I will see if I can upload pictures... I dont know if I can figure it out, but I will try!

Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I am PUMPED to graduate. May 16th-- my parents and I are doing a barbecue afterwards at my parents house, and everyone is welcome! I will get you details a couple weeks beforehand. I am excited for tax season to be over, cause then I will not be putting in 50 hour weeks with school, but for now I am learning so much and am getting by. Plus, I definitely need the money. So I will grin and bear it. Well, and its not so bad because most of our clients are in law enforcement... and who DOESN'T love a man in uniform :)

Thats all for now... thanks for bearing with me through the technological mishaps... as soon as I figure the rest of this out, I will try to delete my other one (the basket16ball16 one) and get this one on all of your sites. This is exciting. I am pumped to read about everyone!
